GPS systems are fast becoming the navigational system of choice for commercial travelers, emergency services and outdoor enthusiasts. You can plot your course and highlight any notable points along the way, calculate your overall distance and even gauge how long it will take to get where you intend to go. Some will even connect to your PC, so you can print out a hard copy (handy for being able to give your travel plans to the person who you check in with at the end of the day).
